When you send money outside of the U.S. or its territories, the term "receiver" means your Final Receiver and the terms "transaction" or "transfer" generally refer to two separate money transfer transactions as described in Western Union's terms and conditions.

A Letter of Credit (L/C) is a bank-guaranteed payment instrument widely used in international trade. It represents a commitment by the buyer's bank to pay the seller (NutraBiotech) a specified amount, provided that the terms and conditions stated in the L/C are met. This is the most secure payment method for large institutional orders, ensuring protection for both buyer and seller.
Buyer and NutraBiotech agree on L/C terms. The buyer applies for an L/C from their bank (the Issuing Bank), specifying payment amount, required documents, and validity period.
The Issuing Bank issues the L/C and transmits it to NutraBiotech's bank (the Advising Bank). NutraBiotech reviews the L/C terms to confirm they match the agreed conditions.
NutraBiotech processes and ships the order, then prepares all required documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of analysis (COA), bill of lading / airway bill, certificate of origin, and any other documents specified in the L/C.
NutraBiotech presents compliant documents to the Advising Bank, which forwards them to the Issuing Bank. Upon verification that all documents conform to the L/C terms, the Issuing Bank releases payment to NutraBiotech.
For L/C issuance, the Issuing Bank will need NutraBiotech's complete beneficiary information (same as the Bank Transfer details in Section 3) plus the specific documentary requirements that will be detailed in your proforma invoice. We strongly recommend using UCP 600 (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits) as the governing rules for all L/C transactions.

NutraBiotech does not charge any payment processing fees. The invoice amount shown is the total you are responsible for on our end. However, third-party financial institutions (banks, Western Union, or MoneyGram) may charge their own fees, including but not limited to: wire transfer fees, currency conversion fees, intermediary/correspondent bank fees, and service charges. These fees are the responsibility of the sender and should be factored into your total cost calculation. We recommend: (1) asking your bank about all applicable fees before initiating a wire transfer; (2) using "OUR" / Full Payment mode for T/T transfers; (3) considering Alipay for lower overall transaction costs.
NutraBiotech does not impose a strict minimum order amount for most payment methods. However, for Letters of Credit (L/C), we recommend a minimum order value of $10,000 due to the fixed banking costs associated with L/C issuance and document handling. For small-quantity orders, we recommend Western Union, MoneyGram, or Alipay to minimize proportional transaction costs. For bulk and wholesale inquiries, contact our sales team for volume-based pricing that significantly reduces your per-unit cost.
Currently, NutraBiotech does not accept credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or PayPal. This is because most payment processors have restrictive policies regarding research chemical transactions. However, the payment methods we do accept — Bank Transfer, Western Union, MoneyGram, Alipay, and L/C — are specifically chosen for their reliability, global coverage, and compatibility with research chemical commerce. Alipay offers the closest experience to instant digital payments.
Upon receiving and verifying your payment, we issue a Payment Confirmation Receipt via email. This receipt includes: invoice number, payment date, amount received, payment method used, and remaining balance (if any). For bank transfers, you also receive a SWIFT confirmation from your bank. For Western Union, your MTCN receipt serves as proof. All receipts and invoices are compliant with standard accounting requirements for research institutions, university procurement, and corporate bookkeeping.
For large institutional orders, split payments may be arranged upon request. For example, a portion of the order could be paid via bank transfer and the remainder via Western Union. Split payments must be agreed upon in advance and documented in your proforma invoice. Each payment tranche will be tracked separately, and the order enters processing only after all tranches have been received and verified. Overpayment: If you accidentally send more than the invoiced amount, we will document the overage and offer two options: (1) a credit applied to your next order, or (2) a refund of the excess amount via the same payment method (where feasible; bank transfer refunds are standard). Underpayment: If funds received are less than the invoiced amount (e.g., due to intermediary bank deductions), we will notify you of the shortfall.
